Privacy Policy
Effective 18 August 2026 · Last updated 18 August 2026 · printmypaper.me
This policy describes how Print My Paper (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit https://printmypaper.me, call +1 (888) 414-0190, chat, submit a form, or interact with our advertising.
1. Who we are
Controller: Print My Paper, 1200 Paper Mill Avenue, Suite 400, Austin, TX 78701, United States. Privacy contact: privacy@printmypaper.me.
2. Information we collect
- You provide: name, email, phone, printer model, issue description, print-job files and specs, billing details if you purchase a service.
- Automatic: IP address, browser type, device, referring URL, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, chat and ticket logs.
- Cookies and similar: see our Cookie Policy. Advertising partners may set cookies if you accept optional cookies.
3. How we use information
- Provide printing, IT print, and helpdesk services you request.
- Respond to calls, chat, tickets, and quotes.
- Secure the site, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep rate limits.
- Measure campaigns and improve pages (only with consent where required).
- Comply with law, including tax and consumer rules.
- Send service messages; marketing email only with a lawful basis (consent or soft opt-in where allowed), with unsubscribe.
4. Advertising and analytics
We may run ads on Google, Microsoft Advertising, Meta, and similar networks. Those networks may process identifiers (cookies, advertising IDs, hashed emails if we upload customer lists) to measure conversions, limit frequency, and — if you allow personalized ads — to show relevant ads. We do not sell your print files. We may share limited contact or event data with ad platforms as processors or independent controllers as described in their terms. See Advertising Disclosure and Do Not Sell / Share.
If you use a consent banner, optional analytics and ads cookies load only after “Accept all”. “Reject optional” keeps strictly necessary cookies (security, load balancing, cookie preference).
5. Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)
Where those laws apply: contract (to deliver a service), legitimate interests (securing the site, B2B outreach that is proportionate), consent (non-essential cookies and some marketing), and legal obligation.
6. Retention
Contact and ticket records are kept as long as needed for the job, disputes, and legal minimums (often up to 7 years for invoices). Chat logs are operational records and are pruned on a shorter cycle unless a ticket is opened. Cookie IDs follow the lifetimes in the Cookie Policy.
7. Sharing
We share data with hosting and email providers, payment processors if you pay online, telecom for call routing, and advertising/analytics vendors you consent to. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell customer lists to unrelated list brokers.
8. International transfers
Vendors may process data in the United States and other countries. Where GDPR applies we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) with those vendors.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location you may access, correct, delete, or export personal data, object or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, and appeal a denial. California residents: see Do Not Sell / Share for CPRA “sale” and “share” (cross-context behavioral advertising). EU/UK: you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Requests: privacy@printmypaper.me. We may need to verify you.
10. Children
The site is for adults and organizations. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
11. Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, and rate limiting. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. Do not send payment card numbers in chat.
12. Changes
We will post updates on this page and change the date above. Material advertising or cookie changes will be reflected in the banner where required.
